Michelle Dee wants to show off her growth Miss Grand International All Stars

Michelle Dee is determined to prove herself anew in her upcoming journey in Miss Grand International All Stars.

In an interview following the red carpet event and premiere of her new movie “Red Crown,” the actress and beauty queen told members of the press, “Lagi ko naman pong sinasabing hindi pa tapos at hindi pa matatapos.”

Michelle said that she and her fellow queens will show the audience "how it's done."

“We’ll show them what an All Star is.”

She added that joining Miss Grand International All Stars is “not about beating my last performance. It’s about showing you how I’ve grown and that that person that is me.”

Michelle, who previously served as a host in the first edition’s preliminary competition, said she was able to immerse herself in the pageant.

“I was happy. Papa Nawat [Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International] is so caring,” Michelle said.

“And it really made me wonder what if, and I don’t like what ifs. That’s why we continue to fight,” she added.

Michelle is set to compete at Miss Grand International All Stars in December, the pageant announced on Monday. She also shared the news at the premiere night of “Red Crown.”

Michelle won Miss Universe Philippines in 2023 and competed in the international pageant that same year. She won several special awards and finished in the Top 10.

She also competed in Miss World in 2019 and finished in the Top 12.

Meanwhile, the first Miss Grand International All Stars was held this year. Colombia's Vanessa Pulgarin was crowned as the first-ever winner.

The Philippines had five representatives in Miss Grand International All Stars: Gazini Ganados, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Nuñez, Imelda Schweighart, and Keylyn Trajano. Fuschia finished in the Top 18, while Alexia, Imelda, and Keylyn bowed out early. Gazini finished in the Top 5. —JCB, GMA News
