BINI releases new song 'Sama-Sama Tayo' ahead of ASEAN Summit

BINI is here with a new track ahead of the Philippines' hosting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit this month.

Titled "Sama-Sama Tayo," the uplifting song pays tribute to the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Cebu. The pop song with EDM influences has lyrics about togetherness.

According to the Department of Tourism (DOT), "Sama-Sama Tayo" is about "the milestone that marked the beginning of our Chairship journey and set the stage for a year of meaningful connections, shared experiences, and a stronger ASEAN community."

"One region, one shared future. Crossing the seas together, we sail as one!" DOT said.

Earlier this year, the Nation's Girl Group has been named Philippine tourism ambassadors alongside SB19, which also released a track for the upcoming ASEAN Summit.

BINI made history in April when they became the first P-Pop group to perform at Coachella.

They were also among the Filipino artists who submitted their music to the 2027 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, the ASEAN Summit is happening from November 16 to 18.
