UP Mass Comm to hold reunion

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) is set to gather on Saturday its graduates from the College of Mass Communication during a grand alumni homecoming. The gathering, dubbed “UP Mass Comm and You: Photographs and Memories atbp," will be held at the Plaridel Hall in UP Diliman, Quezon City at 1 p.m. The organizers of the homecoming encouraged alumni to bring along special mementos from their college years. In order to engage the alumni in “bringing back the fondest memories of college," the UP-CMC urged them to bring along batch memorabilia including: · old class cards; · Form-5 (registration form); · class papers with grades; · old scripts; · journalism articles; · graded “blue books" (examination booklets); · course syllabus; · student identification card; · old photographs; and · CMC student organization photo albums or slum books. To spice up the event further, the college has also cooked up other surprises for attending alumni, including exhibits and performances from mass communication students. The college also said it would be designating an “Exhibition Area" where alumni could display their memorabilia. The election of 15 members of the UP-CMC Alumni Association Board will also be held during the homecoming event. For further information, UP-CMC alumni may contact the UP-CMCAA President and veteran director Maryo J. De Los Reyes at (63)917-890-7249. - GMANews.TV
