From sloppy to stylish: fashion for successful men

Men are more conscious than ever. Nowadays, they are pushing their limits when it comes to style and fashion.
At some point, these fashion savvy guys already had said goodbye to wearing simple T-shirts and sloppy jeans, and welcomed colors and layering of clothes with open arms.

Last Thursday, Antony Morato (AM), a menswear brand from Italy, launched its new collection showcasing variations of clothing from casual to formal in a fashion show held at Hyve in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City.
According to Lorenzo Manalang, the company's brand consultant, Antony Morato is focused "on the successful men. I think (they're) the ones that are really changing the landscape right now. Gone are the days that you see men wearing shirts and jeans, and sloppy jeans and sloppy sneakers."
"It's a very big brand in Europe and that's why we're bringing it here. We want that excitement in Europe to also cascade here in the Philippines," he added.
Expanding the brand
Antony Morato will be opening new branches in Metro Manila.
From its first store in Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City last November 2012, the brand will expand its operations by opening a store in Glorieta Mall in Makati next month. "I also want to establish that Antony Morato is a premium brand. It's always just select, it's always just limited. It's always just in the right places, at the right time," stressed Manalang.
Furthermore, the brand, founded by Tania, Lello, and Giovanni Calderelli in 2007, is also eyeing premium locations like Power Plant Mall in Makati City, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City, and SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
"Any premium locations, if we can be there because that's where we want to be because that's where our market actually goes, they wanna shop there," he said.
Other than that, one of the brand's many goals in expanding business in the Philippines is to reach its market in other cities, specifically in Cebu City.
According to him, "If we can go to Cebu, that's also our goal. But for the meantime, we want to establish here in Metro Manila, and if Manila already loves the market, loves Antony Morato, we can already push that down to Cebu." —KG, GMA News
