Princess Caroline of Monaco’s daughter gives birth to son: report

MONACO - Charlotte Casiraghi, the eldest daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, has given birth to a son, daily Monaco Matin announced Wednesday.

This is the first child of the 27-year-old, who is in a relationship with French comedian Gad Elmaleh.

According to the report, she gave birth on Tuesday evening at the Princess Grace Hospital Center in Monaco.

He is Princess Caroline's second grandson, after her son Andrea and South American heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo had a baby boy in March.

Caroline is the eldest child of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, the former Hollywood star Grace Kelly, whose fairytale 1956 wedding helped catapult Monaco from a sleepy Riviera town to a watering hole for the world's rich and famous.
