Vietura: Beautifying staycation with a view

I make it a point to do a health binge twice a year. Vietura Aesthetic Lifestyle is a joint venture between Sofitel Hotel and The Zen Institute’s Dr. MJ Torres. Unlike establishments that cater to only one lifestyle aspect, Vietura takes on a more holistic approach, believing in three proponents for complete beauty and wellness: Aesthetics, Lifestyle, and Integrative Medicine.

Its aesthetic methods include non-surgical slimming treatments such as Lipocryo, Ultraslim Tight and Ultralipo, PRP injections (a form of stem cell in which some of the patient’s own blood is extracted, centrifuged then administered back into the skin, promoting the release of growth factors that repair damaged cells) and power cell lifting. where multiple threads are injected under the skin to enhance cell engraftment.

The clinic also offers lifestyle coaching in the form of nutritional counseling and De-Light Cuisine, a healthy menu designed by Vietura’s nutritionist and Sofitel Hotel’s expert chefs.
 

Its integrative medicine philosophy embarks on a more scientific foray. IV Micronutrition—a 45-minute procedure where vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes are introduced intravenously to the body—is the clinic’s answer to hydration, anti-aging and weight management (the IV cocktail actually has features that quicken one’s metabolism).

If you’re up for a detox, they also offer Colonics Hydrotherapy, a cleansing method via colon irrigation.

Not just a staycation

To mark its first anniversary, Vietura launched pricey slimming packages that redefine R&R, combining health, fitness, and lifestyle treatments with an overnight stay at the luxury hotel and including a De-Light breakfast and a massage. And all of these luxuries come with a hefty price tag.

One of these is geared towards cleanse advocates. The Detox Retreat Package (P17,500) also gives you a complimentary yoga class, nutritional counseling, one session of Colonics Hydrotherapy and a 15-minute Ultralipo treatment (a form of lipocavitation that uses pulses or sound waves to target stored fat).

Another is for those who want to smooth away those wrinkles. The Timeless Beauty Package (P30,000) also includes a complimentary yoga class, nutritional counseling, one session of PRP and a 30-minute Resolift treatment (non-surgical facial contouring) at Vietura.

And if you feel you’re due a real vacation, including a flight to a holiday site abroad, Vietura will soon open its doors in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dusa, Thailand this year.
