Cebuana beauty crowned Miss Philippines-Earth 2014

Cebu City's candidate was crowned Miss Philippines-Earth 2014 at the grand coronation held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday night.

Jamie Herrell, a 19-year-old animal rights advocate, will represent the country in this year's Miss Earth international beauty pageant, according to the official website of Miss Philippines-Earth.

Herrel's elemental court include:

•    Miss Philippines-Air 2014: Diane Querrer of Tanauan, Batangas
•    Miss Philippines-Earth Water 2014: Kimberly Covert of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental
•    Miss Philippines-Fire 2014: Bianca Paz of Gapan, Nueva Ecija
•    Miss Philippines-Earth Eco-Tourism 2014: Monique Manuel of Dinalupihan, Bataan

Miss Philippines-Earth will serve as the ambassador for environmental protection campaigns in the country.
