Aklat ng Bayan Launch (Aug. 15 and Aug 20)

Stick around the National Museum of the Philippines on August 15 for the “Aklat ng Bayan” book launch, featuring 15 KWF books published in the last two years.

In its statement on Gov.ph, the KWF said that "Aklat ng Bayan" is a way of demonstrating the capacity of the Filipino language to be the language of creative and intellectual pursuits; Filipino, as a language, is a way for various disciplines to compile knowledge in writing and research, according to the website.

The launch will feature a "buy 1 take 2" promo for KWF's new and old books; a Q&A and book signing session with the authors; and a National Museum tour before the program. Felipe de Leon Jr. of the NCCA and Dr. Galileo Zafra of UP Diliman will be the event's special guests.

The "buy 1 take 2" promo will start on August 20 at the KWF ground floor office in the Malacañang Complex.
