Singer Pharrell Williams collaborates with Adidas

Williams' Adidas collection features a distinctive polka dot motif on clothing and on Stan Smith shoes. On the heel counter of each shoe is an equals sign, a symbol of the equality that the singer wants to promote through the collection.
"Equality is love visualized. It is a symbol of affection, the action of affection. Equality is everything from a greeting to a declaration of true love. In all its forms. It is acceptance. It is love. It is strength," said Williams in a release provided by Adidas.
“Beyond allowing a musician to merely design a product, I view our work together as a true creative expression of art. It also provides me the opportunity to amplify and spread the message of equality, something that has always been important and very dear to me.”

According to Adidas, additional new styles from the ongoing collaboration will be available in stores throughout 2015.
