Christmas light show illuminates Empire State Building
A Christmas lights show illuminating the Empire State Building in New York began on Saturday, December 20, and continues through Tuesday, December 23.
The building's Youtube channel posted the light shows on the first two nights:
Over 15,000 channels of the building's LEDs were synchronized to holiday-themed music on local radio stations.
The public was advised by the show organizers to vote online for the best light theme, which will then be replayed on Christmas Eve.
Lighting designer Marc Brickman choreographed the show on the 1,454-foot-high (443 meters) skyscraper in midtown Manhattan, which was considered the tallest building in the world for several decades after 1931. — Reuters
