Dancing Cebu inmates ready dance number for Pope Francis

Even if they will not likely see Pope Francis in person when he visits the Philippines in January, the famous dancing inmates in Cebu have prepared a dance number for him.

The Cebu Provincial Detention Rehabilitation Center's dancing inmates said this number is their gift to the pope, GMA Cebu reported Monday.

Usually, the inmates' dance numbers are posted on video-sharing site YouTube.

Pope Francis is due to visit Manila and Leyte when he visits the Philippines on Jan. 15 to 19.

On the other hand, the inmates are also preparing a separate dance number for the Sinulog Festival in early 2015. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
