Dancing Cebu inmates allowed overnight family visit for Valentine’s Day
The famous dancing inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center got a Valentine's treat last weekend from administrators of the facility, who allowed their families to visit them overnight.
Family members of the CPDRC inmates formed a long line outside the facility Saturday morning in hopes of availing of the privilege, GMA Cebu's Jun Veliganio and Alan Domingo reported Monday.
Activities for inmates and their visiting families inside the CPDRC included a Bingo game.
"At least narito kaming lahat," said inmate Geraldine Demicilio, but also said she longed to be released.
The dancing inmates have brought fame to the country in the international stage via viral YouTube videos of their dances to mark important events or occasions. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
