WATCH: Tanauan, Batangas holds Parade of Lights festival

Tanauan City in Batangas held its second Parade of Lights festival over the weekend, with spectators gathering in the streets to watch illuminated floats that lit up the night pass by. These included a smoking Taal Volcano float, a "helicopter" float, a car outlined in lights, and a giant cake float.

Extravagantly costumed performers aso danced down the streets holding brightly lit props.



The festival is part of Tanauan's celebration of 14 years since its incorporation as a city through the ratification of Republic Act 9005 in 2001. — BM, GMA News
