Janicel Lubina takes Best in Swimsuit, Best in Long Gown at Bb. Pilipinas pageant

(Updated 10:18 p.m.) The 34 Binibining Pilipinas contestants stalked the stage in swimsuits, and then in evening gowns, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday. But only one contestant took top place in both categories.

Winning both categories is #11 Janicel Lubina, seen below during the candidates' presentation at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza on February 17.

The daughter of a domestic helper and a former domestic helper herself, Lubina was featured in a report by Agence France-Presse on the Philippines' beauty pageant industry.
