No, this is not an April Fools' Day prank.

Pentatonix, the most successful a capella quintet to date, are bringing their "On My Way Home" Tour to the Philippines on June 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the group announced on Twitter on April 1.

Pentatonix will also perform in South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore during their stop in Asia.

The group consists of Scott Hoying (baritone), Mitch Grassi (tenor/countertenor), Kirstie Maldonado (mezzo-soprano), Avi Kaplan (bass lead), and Kevin Olusola (vocal percussion, cello).

The vocalists from Arlington, Texas joined and eventually won the third season of a capella competition "The Sing-Off" in 2011, where they performed a capella covers of songs by Katy Perry, Kanye West, Britney Spears, Marvin Gaye, Florence and the Machine, and more.

Their medley of Daft Punk's songs won a Grammy Award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Capella category in 2015. It was posted on YouTube on November 4, 2013 and has already earned more than 127 million views.

Since their debut, Pentatonix have already released three albums and two Christmas special compilations. Their latest album PTX Vol. III debuted at number five on the Billboard 200.

The group also has a cameo part in "Pitch Perfect 2", which is set to release this year. — Trisha Macas/BM, GMA News
