Special Ad Feature: Champion pays tribute to 'Tapat' Pinoys

This 2015, Champion pays tribute to individuals who can serve as an inspiration to Filipinos all over the country through its Tapat Dapat Update, a 13-episode series hosted by long-time endorser, Ryan Agoncillo. Champion showcases unique individuals who have exemplified what being “tapat” means in their various fields, and how this has brought about a positive impact on their lives and the people around them.

In the pilot episode of Champion Tapat Dapat Update, we meet Teacher Fe Matullano-Lustanas, an ordinary public school teacher who truly embodies what it means to be an educator as she goes beyond the four corners of the classroom to share her knowledge with less privileged children. In 2010, she started her advocacy – Education Under the Bridge - where she teaches young children who cannot afford to go to formal school how to read and write. Beyond literacy, she also helps to build their character by teaching good values and hopes to make them feel love and compassion.

Despite facing many challenges such as limited budget for supplies and materials, Teacher Fe persevered as the number of her students grew in knowledge and in number.
