Sam Smith cancels PHL concert due to vocal cord problems

Sad news for Sam Smith's fans: the English singer-songwriter's scheduled concert in Manila on May 10 has been cancelled.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Smith said that he could not come to Manila due to "serious issues with my vocal cords."

Smith added that he will have to reschedule his shows to later this year as he will be flying to the United States to see a specialist.
