Model Jessica Minh Anh to stage catwalk in middle of solar plant

Model and entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh, who last year organized a fashion show on the Eiffel Tower, is planning to stage another headline-grabbing catwalk, this time among the shiny, neatly arrayed solar panels of Spanish solar power plant Gemasolar on July 17.

According to a post on Minh Anh's site, the J Summer Fashion Show 2015 "will premiere a combination of haute couture and high end ready-to-wear collections from over 15 countries."

The catwalk will be right in the middle of Gemasolar's array in Fuentes de Andalucia in Seville, surrounded by thousands of the shining mirrored solar panels and with the central tower serving as a backdrop. The 100-meter catwalk will be filmed by drones from above to highlight the sun's effect on the panels.

Apart from the Eiffel Tower, Minh Anh has staged fashion shows on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, on the Skybridge of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and on London's Tower Bridge. — BM, GMA News
