Flags, posters set up along Roxas Blvd for Independence Day
Philippine flags and posters have started to adorn Roxas Boulevard in Manila, roughly two weeks before Independence Day.
The posters raised awareness about the 117th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine Independence, as shown in photos posted by radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen.

On June 12, top officials are expected to lead Philippine Independence Day activities in different venues.
President Benigno Aquino III, however, is expected to lead rites—including the vin d'honneur—in Iloilo province.
An earlier report by GMA Iloilo showed Aquino's first major engagement in Iloilo on June 12 will be the flag-raising at Sta. Barbara town, where he will give a speech.
He is to pass by the church in Molo district before heading for the old provincial capitol for the vin d'honneur scheduled at 10 a.m.
