Christmas sparkle lights up the streets of Makati
Text and photos by DANNY PATA
The streets of Makati lit up Tuesday evening as the Christmas lights lining three of its major thoroughfares were turned on.
Makati's business bigwigs—led by members of the Zobel de Ayala family—presided over the street-lighting ceremony at Ayala Triangle's Tower & Exchange Plaza fountain area, switching on the Christmas lights that lit up Ayala Avenue, Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas.
Several of the designs are of the Philippines' colonial churches.
