Miss Universe 2015 candidates show off their figure in the swimsuit competition

After doing their introductions in silver and gold cocktail dresses, the Miss Universe 2015 candidates quickly changed into something more comfortable—swimsuits, which kicked off the preliminary competition for the pageant on December 16 (December 17 in Manila).

Hosts Nick Teplitz and reigning Miss Universe Paulina Vega reminded the audience to take note of their favorite candidates, as a global fan vote could help a beauty queen take the Miss Universe crown home. 

During the show, Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach received the loudest cheers as she walked the stage. — AT, GMA News
