Intriguing ‘Midnight Special’ teaser provides more questions than answers

What is with Alton's eyes? Young actor Jaeden Lieberher literally lights up in the teaser for the science fiction thriller "Midnight Special", playing the role of a young boy whose powers have drawn unwanted attention. 

Michael Shannon plays Lieberher's father, who tries to protect him from religious extremists and local law enforcement—but things quickly escalate into a nationwide manhunt for the young boy.

Joining the cast are Joel Edgerton, Kirsten Dunst, Adam Driver, and Sam Shepard. The film is directed by Jeff Nichols, the man behind "Mud" and "Take Shelter".

“Midnight Special” will be shown exclusively at Century City Cinemas, Commercenter Cinemas, Eastwood Cinemas, Festival Mall and Shang Cineplex starting April 20. The film is distributed in the Philipines by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
