Pia Wurtzbach reflects on Bb. Pilipinas win, claim ‘most followed’ Miss Universe title

It's been a year since Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe Philippines title in Binibining Pilipinas 2015—earning her not only the sash to the international pageant, but the Miss Universe 2015 crown as well. 

The beauty queen reflected on her winning moment on Wednesday, March 16. 

In an Instagram post, she quoted, “When you want something; the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

“So if you desire something with happiness and if you find joy working on that dream, then you nourished the soul of the Universe. So it's true. The Universe is listening. March 15, 2015 was the night I became Miss Universe Philippines 2015. Thank you so much for all your support!” she added.

Pia also thanked her supporters as she hit two million followers, making her the most followed Miss Universe titleholder.

According to the Filipina beauty queen, “Thank you for another milestone in helping me hit 2m followers! The most followed Miss Universe ever! Really feeling like the #MostLovedBinibini and #MostLovedMissUniverse. Maraming Salamat po! Mahal ko kayo! I love you all!!”

It took Pia three attempts before winning a beauty title in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Her first attempt was in 2013, where she placed as the runner-up to Ariella Arida. She joined in 2014 again, but only made it to the top 15.
