Pia Wurtzbach, Dr. Mike converse in Filipino


Debunking the speculations that her cryptic Instagram post saying “Boy, I'm a prize not a catch” translates to a possible argument with Mikhail "Dr. Mike" Varshavski, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach enganged in an endearing Twitter exchange with the “Sexiest Doctor Alive” on Tuesday—in Filipino!

Pia dispelled the rumors on Tuesday morning by saying, “Kalma lang po. Okay naman ang lahat :) magandang umaga!” 

She then tweeted an apology about the misunderstanding, addressed directly to Doctor Mike.

“Nagkamali lang po ng pagkaintindi at pagkasagot. Pasensya na po. Maraming salamat po.  @RealDoctorMike Okay na po ba, doc?,” the beauty queen said.

Pia clarified that the medical resident does not understand Filipino, and even asked her followers to help her translate for him.

“Baka replayan ako ng Russian. Di bale, may German at Bisaya pa akong baon,” she joked.

But Doctor Mike was ready with a reply, addressing Pia in a tweet in Filipino, “Ok lang @PiaWurtzbach na nagkamali ang pagkaintindi mo at sagot. Naiintindihan ko. Lahat ng bagay at lahat ay mabuti.”

The beauty queen seemed impressed with his efforts, especially when he followed it up by saying that he is doing his best to study the language.

 

 

Last month, after admitting in separate interviews that they were indeed dating, Pia and Doctor Mike took a break from their individual responsibilities to go on a helicopter date over New York City.
