‘Keep America Great’ slogan fuels the new ‘The Purge 3: Election Year’ trailer

In the latest "The Purge" installment, the free-for-all night where heinous crimes like murder become legal hits a snag when a US Senator questions the philosophy behind the annual "celebration."

Senator Charlene "Charlie" Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell) is a survivor of a previous purge, where she was also witness to the murder of her entire family. She vowed to stop the yearly crime spree, defending the poor and the innocent who fall prey to sadists on Purge Night.

"The Purge 3: Election Year" is a direct sequel to "The Purge: Anarchy" and Frank Gillo returns as Leo Barnes, now the head of security for Senator Roan.
