‘Pete's Dragon’ takes flight in new trailer

Suffering from "dracarys" withdrawal after the "Game of Thrones" season finale? 

Disney seeks to fill the gap with Elliot, a rather furry—and green—version of a dragon.

"Pete's Dragon" is a reimagining of the 1977 musical from the same studio, starring Oakes Fegley as Pete, a young boy who has been living in the woods for six years. He is later found by forest ranger, Grace Meacham (Bryce Dallas Howard).

Meacham and her family soon discover that Pete was not alone all these years and are introduced to his companion, Elliot. 

Directed by David Lowery, the movie is set to open in the Philippines on September 7. — AT, GMA News
