Pia Wurtzbach and Deshauna Barber discuss pythons, pizzas and ‘pak ganern!’

Reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and new Miss USA Deshauna Barber, who are roommates in New York City, got candid in their first ever Facebook Live video on Monday.

Although they have just lived with each other for over three months, the two—who call each other Dee and Pee—looked nothing less than best friends.

They had a smize-off, which the beauty queens described as “the look you have when you're hungry.”

Deshauna also seem to hint about Pia's next visit to the Philippines, which may happen on her birthday this month.

The American beauty queen surprised everyone, including her roommate, when she confirmed that she has a python for a pet.

“I have a snake, but my boyfriend takes care of it. She likes wrapping around your neck, and she might get too tight sometimes, but know she means well. She's not trying to kill me. She just likes to squeeze and get warm,” she said.

Deshauna and Pia also talked about their love for pizza, particularly pepperoni pizza, as well as their inability to wink and whistle, and the Tagalog words that the Filipina beauty queen have taught her roommate, including “Pak ganern!”

There is no denying that the two beauty queens have become close during the short time that they have spent together, and they really have nothing but good words for each other.

According to America's representative to the Miss Universe 2016 pageant, “Pia keeps me afloat whenever I get nervous. She says all these words to help me get my confidence up. It gets really scary to represent the country. Before it was just D.C., now it's the nation. It's scar, but I'll make you guys proud.”

“Pia's really goofy and I like that because sometimes I'm really serious, or I have a dry sarcasm. She's always laughing, cracking jokes, very relaxed. I think we get along really well because we're both the same age, we're simple, very low-maintenance. Pia is very, very sweet,” she added.

Meanwhile, Pia said about her roommate, “I like Deshauna's taste in music, her taste in food because she eats everything. I also like that she laughs at my jokes. Her body is also nice.”

Both Pia and Deshauna graced New York Fashion Week recently, walking on the runway for the Sherri Hill collection. — BIanca Rose Dabu/BM, GMA News
