How fast did Pinoys get hooked on ‘Narcos‘, ‘Breaking Bad’, other Netflix shows?
Netflix, with the gift of endless shows and movies, is like a online streaming Santa Claus—and just like Santa, it knows when you're sleeping and when you're away.
It also knows when you start getting hooked on a show.
Sharing their data with the public, it apparently takes at least three episodes for "Narcos", "Breaking Bad", "Suits", and "Marco Polo" to reel you in and have you binge watching for hours (and hours).
It takes twice as many episodes for the average Pinoy viewer to get hooked on "Orange Is The New Black."

The "hook" is identified as that episode that pushed over 70% of viewers to finish the entire season of a series. In other words, it's the episode that serves as the point of no return.
Data was gathered for the Philippines from January to August of this year.
Netflix also offers this observation, "Filipino viewers easily get hooked early on with shows that allow them to live vicariously through law-breaking characters featured in shows such as Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, How to Get Away with Murder, and Narcos."
Filipinos, they note, take a longer time to get into superhero justice (Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones). — Aya Tantiangco/BM, GMA News
