Final ‘Fantastic Beasts’ trailer opens case full of magical creatures

Magical creatures have escaped Newt Scamander's case, spelling trouble for 1926 New York City.

In the final trailer of the newest adventure inspired by the Harry Potter universe, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” it is revealed that magizoologist Newt Scamander must recapture his creatures before it's too late.

Newt Scamander, the author of titular book featured in JK Rowling's famous series, is brought to life by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne. The wizard is flanked by a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, played by Tony Award winner Dan Fogler.

Other cast members include Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray, and Faith Wood-Blagrov.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” directed by David Yates, will open in Philippine theaters on November 17. — Jessica Bartolome / AT, GMA News
