Cara Delevingne shuts down tabloid claims that Victoria's Secret called her bloated

British model Cara Delevingne is a noted Victoria's Secret angel and although she's a big believer of turning the other cheek, she wasn't about to let tabloid newspaper The Sun get away with spreading rumors.

Delevingne slammed The Sun for publishing an article claiming she was "blasted" by Victoria's Secret for being "bloated" and was left out of the show.

"It's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers," Delevingne declared on Instagram Friday, pairing her post with middle finger emojis.

Delevingne shared a letter from Victoria's Secret CMO Edward Razek, which debunked the claims made by The Sun.

"Contrary to The Sun's claims, which they never bothered to fact check with me, Victoria's Secret made every effort to have you in the London show. I know, because I was the one making the effort," the letter read.

Razek also extended an invitation for Delevingne to join the show, without auditioning, on November 30 if her schedule frees up.

The Sun took down the article shortly after Delevingne posted the letter. — AT, GMA News
