The new ‘Baywatch’ trailer offers sneak peek of all the abs

The cast of the "Baywatch" reboot has big shoes to fill, but the new trailer for the movie shows that they've at least made sure that there's no shortage of abs on the beach. 

Aside from the distraction that is Zac Efron's body, the trailer also sets the tone for the upcoming film—a liberal amount of raunchy comedy and some explosions await the audience. 

Directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), "Baywatch" stars Dwayne Johnson as Mitch Buchannon (played by David Hasselhoff in the original TV series), Zac Efron as Matt, Alexandra Daddario as Summer (originated by Nicole Eggert), Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra as a villain, Ilfenesh Hadera as Mitch’s love interest Stephanie, Kelly Rohrbach as C.J. Parker (Pamela Anderson’s old role), and Jack Kesy (The Strain) and Amin Joseph (G.I. Joe: Retaliation). 

"Baywatch" premieres in Philippine cinemas in May 2017. — AT, GMA News
