Miss Australia arrives in PHL, excited to meet Pia Wurtzbach

The parade of beauties continues. Miss Australia Caris Tiivel arrived late Friday afternoon, the fourth candidate to touch down at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City.

Miss Australia briefly spoke with the press and expressed her excitement to meet reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach as well as spend time with other candidates.

"I really admire that she's (Wurtzbach) so graceful," the beauty queen said. "And she describes herself as being confidently beautiful with a heart, and I think that's important."

Miss USA Deshauna Barber and Miss New Zealand Tania Pauline Dawson arrived Friday morning, followed by Miss Korea Jenny Kim.

Barber and Dawson attended a press briefing in Malacañang.

All of the candidates are scheduled to meet President Rodrigo Duterte on January 23, 2017.
