Don't bash the other candidates, Pia, Maxine tell fans

Do you feel any pressure right now? 

Nearly 90 candidates from all over the world will be touring the country's top destinations over the next two weeks and beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach and Maxine Medina are turning to everyone for support. 

On Friday, Medina called on the public to "spread kindness." 

"Let us all welcome our guests with open arms. Let them experience genuine Filipino hospitality and let the beauty of our hearts radiate as we host the 65th Miss Universe Beauty Pageant!" the reigning Miss Philippines wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach on her personal Twitter account asked everyone to refrain from insulting other candidates.

"Wag po sana tayong mambash ng mga candidates dahil magrereflect po yan sa impression nila satin. Lahat po tayo representative ng Pilipinas," Wurtzbach said last week.

The candidates for the 65th Miss Universe pageant will be visiting Boracay, Cebu, Davao, Vigan, and other key cities around the country.
