Miss Universe candidates lend helping hands for #IRiseAgainstHunger program
While a few of the Miss Universe candidates joined reigning queen Pia Wurtzbach in Baguio for various activities, the majority donned white aprons and hairnets for the #IRiseAgainstHunger program in Pampanga on Wednesday.
Fifty-six of the queens were at the event: Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Curacao, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Guatamela, Guyana, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Angola, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nambia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Philippines, Romania, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela and Vietnam.
The ladies were all smiles after putting together 100 food packs which will be distributed to aid women who are in need.
"It's too much fun to call work! I'm happy I could help feed 40,000 people ", Miss Universe Curacao said.
The food packs were turned over to DOH Asec Dr. Eric Tayag.
