Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres arrives in PHL

Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres has arrived in the Philippines to take part in the 65th Miss Universe grand coronation on January 30.

"Finally here! Philippines Mi Segundo Hogar (my second home). Na miss ko kayo!" Dayanara announced on her Twitter account.

She also posted a video of her arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Tuesday night.

The Puerto Rican beauty queen arrived at around 7 p.m. on board PAL flight PR 113 from Los Angeles.

Dayanara first visited the Philippines in 1994 to pass on the Miss Universe crown. She stayed in the country and starred in movies and TV shows.

Dayanara will join other Miss Universe titleholders who will grace the grand coronation event at the Mall of Asia Arena, including Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973 Margarita Moran, Miss Universe 1991 Lupita Jones, Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen, and Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori.
