Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen arrives in Manila

Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen landed in Manila Thursday afternoon and for the beauty queen, it feels like home.

Tuesday Niu reporting for DZBB relayed Sen's delight in returning to the Philippines, quoting the beauty queen as saying that she feels the love of her Filipino fans.

Sen was crowned at the Philippine International Convention Center in 1994 by Dayanara Torres, who is already in the country. The pair will be serving as judges together on January 30 for the 65th Miss Universe final competition.

Sen had previously expressed her excitement about coming back to the Philippines.

"[L]ife comes a full circle, from winning Miss Universe, to having owned its Indian Franchise to now...returning back to Manila this time as a judge at the 65th Miss Universe pageant!!!" she wrote in the emoji-filled caption of a photo posted on her Instagram on January 21.
