Maxine’s mom says competition is ‘heart-pounding’

In a short video that shows clearly where Miss Philippines got her world-class beauty, Maxine Medina's mother Maria Fe spoke briefly about her feelings after the preliminary competition.

"Heart-pounding talaga," she said, then spoke about her faith in her daughter's chances.

"I'm so excited for her. I know she can make it. She can do it," she said.
