New queen Iris Mittenaere posts photo of Miss Universe crown, sash

French beauty queen and new Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere posted a photo of her hard-won crown and sash after the coronation event and her first press conference.

Iris was crowned as the 65th Miss Universe by Pia Wurtzbach on Monday morning at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Beyond being grateful for what she has earned and experienced, Iris said she still feels like she is "dreaming."

She thanked both her home country France and the Philippines.

Mittenaere is the second French delegate to win Miss Universe, after Christiane Martel all the way back in 1953.
