Olivia Jordan to Pia Wurtzbach: ‘You will always be my Miss Universe’

Pia Wurtzbach's reign may be over, but for one beauty queen, she will always be Miss Universe.

Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan, who formed a close friendship with Pia, posted a sweet message for her former roommate after the coronation of the new Miss Universe, France's Iris Mittenaere.

On her Facebook page, Olivia mulled over how lucky she is that her life intersected with Pia's.

"I don't know how I got so lucky to have our lives intersect how they did, but having you as a roommate, sister-queen, role model and friend was the greatest blessing of my Miss USA experience," she wrote.

"Thank you for always being authentically and unapologetically you. Thank you for showing me what it means to work hard and never give up on your dreams. Thank you for being a friend in one of the most rewarding yet challenging jobs of my life," she added.

Since the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, where Olivia emerged as the second runner-up, the two have been best friends.

Last April, the American beauty traveled all the way to the Philippines to watch Pia take her final walk as Binibining Pilipinas 2015.

Pia also flew to Las Vegas to show support for Olivia as she passed on the crown to the her Miss USA successor.

Now that Pia's reign is over and the crown is passed on to Iris, Olivia assured her that she will always consider Pia as her Miss Universe queen.

"You will always be my #MissUniverse but I am so pleased that you crowned another #confidentlybeautifulwithaheart queen today, who I hope will continue your legacy of wearing the title with humility, strength and grace," she said.
