Aside from having a gorgeous face, striking body and a charming personality, Iris is also a career woman. She has been busy in the past five years pursuing her degree in dental surgery, and she has two years to go before she becomes a full-fledged dentist.

Iris is all that, but the real reason she won the crown is because she embodies the qualities of a real Miss Universe. Iris is not only confident in her skin and what she is capable of doing, but she also shows compassion to people surrounding her.
Iris not only uses her hands to help people show their pearly whites with confidence, she also advocates to help children and young women to have a proper education.
"I will be a dentist in two years. I have a charity for teaching children how to eat properly. But now that I’m representing the Miss Universe, and I want to do more than that. I really want to bring all the children to school… I think this is really the most important—education for every child, especially for young women,” she said in a press conference shortly after the coronation event.
