Maxine Medina’s sister Ferica open to joining pageants one day

Miss Philippines Maxine Medina's family had their time in the spotlight as the Filipina beauty queen represented the country in the 65th Miss Universe pageant last month.

Aside from the family's tight-knit bond, people are also taking notice of Maxine's sister Ferica, a nursing graduate who is also embarking on her own modeling career.

Filipino pageant fans are even already starting to encourage Ferica to follow in her sister's footsteps and join pageants.

Her reply: “I joined in UST. I won as Miss Nursing. That's it. 'Yun lang ang nasalihan ko.”

However, she is not shutting the door on the ossibility of joining pageants in the future, and maybe even representing the country on the international stage, just like her Ate Maxine.

“For now, wala akong balak, but I'm open about it... I'm not closing my doors for it. Let's see kung gusto rin ni God 'yun for me,” Ferica said.
