‘You’re My Foreignoy’ winner becomes Miss Universe photobomber

Amidst all the glitz and glamour of the Miss Universe grand coronation event, one lucky fan got his moment on the spotlight by “photombing” some of the pageant's moments with the most beautiful women in the world.

Chinese-Filipino model and TV personality Richard Juan instantly became a viral internet sensation when his beaming face appeared right behind Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who was then doing her final walk.

“Thank you @magicliwanag for making me the most famous photobomber in Miss Universe,” Richard said, thanking the photographer behind the iconic shot.

 

"Pia is one of the best role model for all the women out there!" I have heard this or read this line at least 93748 times in the past year and I dont agree with it. Pia is not one of the best role for all the women but she's one of the best role model FOR EVERYONE. I will never forget the fact she never gave up chasing her dream of being Miss Universe, she failed twice and she stood back up thrice. Not only did she stand up the third time but she soared to the very very top! You are a real inspiration to millions and millions of people out there Pia. Richard gained popularity in 2014 when he joined Eat Bulaga's “You're My Foreignoy” contest, which showcased the talents and good looks of foreigners with hearts of a true Pinoy.

He was one of the crowd favorites, and he eventually won the Dabarkads' Choice Award and earned the nickname “The Trending Boy” for always being in the Top 10 Twitter trends during the duration of the competition.

Richard could also be seen in one of Miss France (and eventual winner) Iris Mittenaere's photos during the swimsuit competition.
