Pia Wurtzbach to Maxine Medina: ‘You are a queen!’
Pageant fans were touched when, right after she passed on the crown, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach proceeded to comfort Maxine Medina, the Philippines' delegate to the 65th Miss Universe pageant.
Medina made it to the competition's Top 6, before her Miss Universes journey came to an end during the grand coronation event on Monday.

Wurtzbach expressed her support for Medina on social media when she noticed that bashers continue to post negative comments about Maxine's performance.
According to the the former titleholder, “So proud of Maxine. She represented the Philippines so well. And guys, she wanted it just as much as you did. Let's not bash our kababayan.”
To Medina, she said, “Keep your head up, @maxinemedina! Remember what I told you, you are a queen! Nobody can tell you otherwise. You earned it.”

Maxine reciprocated the love with an Instagram post expressing her gratitude for Pia, who was “the very first friend who congratulated me for giving a good fight before I went out of the stage.”
“Thank you @piawurtzbach for guiding me until the very end. No matter how far have you gone, no matter how accomplished you have become, you never forget to be a friend until the last minute of my journey,” the Filipina beauty queen said.
