Have you seen Pia Wurtzbach cry at Miss Universe pageant?

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is a picture of beauty and grace up until the final moments of her reign, which concluded in the 65th Miss Universe grand coronation event on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.

Little did most of us know, the beauty queen got emotional right before stepping onstage to crown the new titleholder.

New York City-based photographer Caryn Leigh Posnansky shared a new photo of the Filipina beauty queen moments before she passed on the crown to Iris Mittenaere of France.

“My favorite backstage #MissUniverse moment: Pia getting choked up before passing on the crown,” she said.

A few minutes after the captured moment, Pia was back to her jolly self—even taking a jab at Steve Harvey's mistake last year by giving him a pair of glasses right before he announced the Miss Universe winner.

She was, as always, regal and all-smiles as she puts on the Miss Universe crown on an emotional Iris.
