Bad blood everywhere in the ‘The LEGO Ninjago Movie’ teaser trailer

The "LEGO Batman Movie" is still enjoying rave reviews from critics, but a follow up is already raring to go. The teaser trailer for "The LEGO Ninjago Movie" dropped on Thursday and it looks like we're in for another epic ride.

"Ninjago" goes back to original LEGO characters and, spoilers, it doesn't just involve ninjas—it has robots...and Jackie Chan!

In this big-screen Ninjago adventure, the battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja (Dave Franco), along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and LEGO Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu (Jackie Chan), as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon (Justin Theroux), the Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. 

Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their true power.

Completing the cast are Olivia Munn, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, and Zach Woods. At the helm is Charlie Bean, making his directorial debut. 

"The LEGO Ninjago Movie" is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and is slated to hit Philippine theaters on September 21, 2017. — AT, GMA News
