Cast details, title of new ‘X-Men’ TV series revealed
While Hugh Jackman unleashes his claws “One Last Time” in the big screen with his Wolverine swan song film in “Logan”, Fox is spreading its wings and continuing the saga in a new TV Series that is set in the same continuity as the films.
After the success of the ongoing show “Legion”, which follows the adventures of Professor X’s son in another reality, ComicBook.com has reported that the new "X-Men"-based TV series in the works has an official title: "Gifted"
The news was confirmed when Lauren Shuler Donner shared a photo on her Twitter page, which indicated that reading has officially begun for the show.

The series will follow the adventures of a family who discovers that their child is a mutant, forcing them to join a group of other mutant families escaping from danger and persecution.
"Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix will be the showrunner for the program. Stephen Moyer ("True Blood") and Amay Acker ("Angel") have been cast as human parents in the series. "Sucker Punch" star Jamie Cheung has been given the mutant role of Blink and Emma Dumont will reportedly Lorna Dane/ Polaris, while Joseph Morgan of "The Originals" is also seen in the picture shared by Donner.
No release date has been given yet for "Gifted", but production is expected to begin this March. — AT, GMA News
