PSY is back with new singles, joined by special guests Lee Byung-hun, Pikotaro
South Korean star PSY is back with two new music videos for the singles “I Luv It” and “New Face.”
Both singles are part of his eighth album, “4x2=8,” which was released on May 10—just a couple of months from “Gangnam Style’s” fifth anniversary.
The new videos are as colorful and weird as we’ve come to expect from PSY. They also feature the appearances of other celebrities.
For instance, in “I Luv It,” PSY is joined by Lee Byung-hun (Storm Shadow in “G.I. Joe”). A certain Japanese comedian whose annoying ditty went viral in late 2016 also makes a brief cameo. In “New Face,” PSY is accompanied by Naeun, a K-pop idol who is a member of Apink girl group.
Both songs boast infectious grooves, while the videos themselves show us PSY’s simple yet entertaining new dance routines.
PSY wrote and composed “I Luv It” alongside Zico. “New Face” was also written by PSY, but the music was composed by both Yoo Gun Hyung and PSY.
“4x2=8” comes with 10 tracks including the aforementioned singles. It is preceded by PSY’s 2015 album “Chiljip Psy-da.” — AT, GMA News
