LGBT community, supporters splash color and cheer in Marikina during 2017 Pride March
The LGBT community and its supporters danced merrily on the streets of Marikina City as they marched for their rights during the 23rd Pride March on Saturday.
Thousands came together under the rainbow flag carrying banners, balloons, and colorful umbrellas to celebrate this year's march.

Dozens of organizations joined the fanfare, drawing cheers and hugs from passersby and residents of Marikina.
Several LGBT participants said they were marching for equality, justice for members of their community, and safety for those who are discriminated for their sexual orientation and preference.
Those who marched in support of the LGBT community said they were fighting for a safe place for their friends. —ALG, GMA News
