Green golden retriever puppy causes a stir in Scotland
Kermit, there's a puppy that needs your guidance about being green.
A newborn golden retriever made headlines across Europe for its unusual fur color. Lined up with his siblings, the puppy's green coat stood out.
Owner Louise Sutherland aptly named him Forest.
"When we checked it out later we found out it is very unusual and to do with the placenta. The color has faded quite a bit already and will be gone soon, I’m told. We’ve named him Forest," Sutherland was quoted as saying by The Sun.
According to a report by TIME from 2014, the green hue is may be caused by the puppy's exposure to biliverdin, a bile pigment found the placenta.

Sutherland said that Forest and his siblings are fine and are "growing like mushrooms."
Three other green puppy births have been recorded recently, one from Lancashire and two from Spain. All three reminded their owners of the Incredible Hulk.- /KVD
