IN PHOTOS: Miss World Philippines 2017 candidates shimmer in evening gowns

The Mall of Asia Arena stage was glimmering on Sunday night as 35 candidates strutted on stage in elegant gowns created by Filipino fashion designers at the Miss World Philippines 2017 coronation night.

Candidate no. 32 Cynthia Thomalla, who was awarded as the Best in Long Gown, stole the show donning a white mermaid evening gown created by local fashion designer Marichu Tan. She also bagged the Miss Photogenic title.

Thomalla was later on crowned as Miss Eco Philippines.

The Miss World Philippines 2017 title went to Laura Lehmann, a former courtside reporter. —KG, GMA News
